Hey there : D I thought it'd be fun to share one of my favourite stories. I first got to hear this story in the (adapted) form of an Anime/ Cartoon Series known as "Princess Sarah", a long time ago. Princess Sarah - the Anime About 4 years ago, I got to read the more original book version of "A little Princess" written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and have read and reread the book quite a number of times. This book is quite the classic (with good reason) which is why the probability of you having read it or at least heard of it-is pretty high. The story revolves around a wonderfully strange little 7 year old individual who goes by the name "Sara Crewe". Sara Crewe's had never known her mother and is - brought up in India by a number of servants and workers who near worshipped her along with her very wealthy young father. Heidi by Johanna Spyri- Book Review #6

The Alps - I never would've heard about The Alps if it hadn't been for the story of Heidi. Once again I read the book "Heidi" by Johanna Spyri a short while back - but grew up watching the animated TV show(the first time being with " A Little Princess" ). Heidi Children's book/ Classic Heidi begins as a story of a 5-year-old young girl, who has been under the care of her aunt Dete who now wishes to put her in the care of the girl's grandfather- so that she can take up a job elsewhere. The Grandfather of interest however lives up a mountain slope-in the Swiss Alps, away from most of his closest neighbours- who live below in the town. He's got a bad reputation- how much of it is true, we aren't told- but for good reason, as it isn't really that important for the main story of Heidi. Love?

Why do people get to feel happy, if it’s all going to go away one day and be replaced with a horrible empty sadness? Why do people meet other people who totally know them, will stick with them and Love them- ONLY to lose them at some point? Why do we even bother with love? Why do we even bother with making friends? I know it makes the journey worthwhile, and I know it’s foolish to think that we can make it on our own, all alone. Because we can’t do that, we need other people . No matter how independent a person we are.
