Grace

It's unfair. The way they hurt, play with your heart,head and body like you're a toy, and downright intentionally seem to want to bring you down.

It's like they don't know how deep their words and actions can truly cut you. There's no way , no reason to be not angry with them. It seems impossible to forgive them.

A little bit of distance shows me that perhaps that they truly, perhaps didn't know what they did to me.
And though the pain is taking over me - I am reminded of the One who loves me passionately enough to want to die for me even when we didn't really behave in a fair way to Him.

When people hurt you, I'm not saying that it is wise to keep on allowing them to hurt you for no reason at all. Or to trust them  fully, again, without reason.

But because I have been freely forgiven, and looked upon with the eyes of Grace each day - I cannot help but forgive. I'm not saying I do this easily.

I still don't get it some times.
But that's only because I'm not focusing on all the ways He has loved me first.
