Hey there : D I thought it'd be fun to share one of my favourite stories. I first got to hear this story in the (adapted) form of an Anime/ Cartoon Series known as "Princess Sarah", a long time ago. Princess Sarah - the Anime About 4 years ago, I got to read the more original book version of "A little Princess" written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and have read and reread the book quite a number of times. Heidi by Johanna Spyri- Book Review #6

The Alps - I never would've heard about The Alps if it hadn't been for the story of Heidi. Once again I read the book "Heidi" by Johanna Spyri a short while back - but grew up watching the animated TV show(the first time being with " A Little Princess" ). Heidi Children's book/ Classic Heidi begins as a story of a 5-year-old young girl, who has been under the care of her aunt Dete who now wishes to put her in the care of the girl's grandfather- so that she can take up a job elsewhere. The Grandfather of interest however lives up a mountain slope-in the Swiss Alps, away from most of his closest neighbours- who live below in the town. He's got a bad reputation- how much of it is true, we aren't told- but for good reason, as it isn't really that important for the main story of Heidi. IMAGinAtion

The Best Things about Life are sometimes things that Money could never ever buy. The Power of Imagination is something everybody possesses - but lately I haven't been using it quite as much. Imagination is the thing that makes reading a new book or story, so exciting to me - the transformation of words on a page into a Real-mind-experiences ( sort of. ) has always fascinated me. As I turned 19 yesterday - a sudden fear began to grip me and I realized that I did not want to grow up. I never want to leave childhood behind , but it seems that I already have. But since a moment of Clarity-I realize that no matter what age I ever become the core of who I am will remain the same. I'll always be me. Thank Heavens! Imagination is one of best gifts that everybody has and can use. But sometimes, it seems that our pride gets in the way - we brush it off of as something childish and unnecessary..as something outdated and something we ought to be ...
